Welcome to Wegeforth!
We hope you can visit us at our newly renovated campus where we have the best staff, students and families. Wegeforth is a small but mighty school that focuses on an inclusive and individualized learning experience for all, specifically working on our writing for the 2024-2025 school year. We are a diverse school with students and staff of many backgrounds where all are welcome and valued. We are excited to begin our dance program again this school year and provide enriching experiences for all students. We know that when our students feel engaged, safe and supported, they can achieve so much more in their academics. We provide strong English Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies and STEAM instruction to all of our students from UTK to our special day program to GATE students and beyond.
Our school promotes a positive learning environment for students by implementing a variety of programs practices. Exemplary behavior is recognized with positive comments, awards, stickers, public recognition, reward time at the counseling center, and a mention in the PTA newsletter. Counselors provide opportunities for students to learn good work habits, develop problem-solving skills, resolve conflicts, and enhance self-esteem.
Class Size
To ensure each student receives an appropriate level of individual attention and support, class sizes are kept as small as possible. In grades K-3, each class has a maximum of 24 students. This is possible in part through funding provided by California.
